Behind every strong team, there is a strong leader: meet Elna Da Silva, Founder of Dynamic Homecare Services. Elna started her career as a registered Midwife in the Philippines. After immigrating to Canada, she became a certified Personal Support Worker (PSW), working in many private residences, retirement homes, and long-term care facilities. During this period, Elna became an integral part of several families who trusted her with the responsibilities of being the primary caregiver of an elderly family member, in addition to often also being the household manager.

She rapidly realized that it is not solely about the service which is delivered , rather , it is the empathy, compassion and dedication with which support is provided that can make a significant difference in the quality of life of a senior. For seniors and the families who care about them, having a reliable, proactive, and trusted team member who is highly attuned to a senior’s needs and communicates and collaborates with others in the senior’s support system will deliver transformational results.

Elna’s caregiving experience with elderly inspired her to start her own business with a simple vision, that reliable service needs to be delivered with empathy, compassion and dedication to provide the highest-value home care to clients.
